La Fontaine de Faucon combines the charm of an eighteenth century farmhouse with today’s comforts and amenities, providing the perfect provencal home for 10-12 people
The house is set around south facing courtyard which captures the sun and warmth for al fresco dining. A westerly terrace offers vantage points to enjoy an evening aperitif whilst watching the sun set over the Luberon mountains. The house is surrounded by a landscaped garden, designed by Nicole de Vesian, the celebrated Provencal garden designer, and is set amongst vines and cherry trees assuring total privacy.
The 12 by 6 metres heated swimming pool gets sun from dawn til dusk but has ample shade.
Inside the house, there is a large sitting room with a corner for watching satellite TV and a fireplace for cosy evenings. This room has French doors opening on to the west facing terrace and into the courtyard
The kitchen is a large vaulted room, with French doors opening out to the courtyard. It is extremely well equipped for large scale entertaining, with a 140 cm LaCanche range cooker, a 3 metre central island and a dining area. There is also a separate dining room next to the kitchen.
